Do's and Don'ts of Buying a Foreclosure

Sponsored by Liberty Title and Nash & Lodge, PLLP

  • Great deals
  • Great risks
  • Redemption

This presentation is geared toward buyers of homes that have been foreclosed and now are being sold by the lender.  While a buyer can get a great deal, these transactions are filled with risks - some obvious, some hidden.

This seminar will discuss the risks facing a buyer so that buyers can decide if these transactions are for them.  In addition, we will discuss ways to minimize some of these risks.

Not only is the Foreclosure Forum designed to educate the public as to what risks they are facing in the real estate market and the options they may have to best protect their interests, but we will also have booths set-up for real estate agents, title companies, lenders and non-profit groups who work in these areas.  Consumers and real estate professionals alike can obtain information and help.
